The ČSOB Regional Headquarters in Hradec Králové was designed from the outset with a focus on sustainability, efficient use of materials and long-term operational quality. The façade solution incorporates large-format, three-dimensionally shaped DAKO GRC panels, including stepped elements forming the main entrance portal, with individual panel sizes of up to 20.5 m².

During the design development, the originally proposed precast concrete façade was replaced by lighter GRC panels with a total area of approximately 4,000 m². This material change resulted in a reduction of embodied carbon emissions in the production phase (A1–A3) by approximately 280–320 tonnes of CO₂. The solution also included optimisation of the anchoring system using the four-point DAKO – GRC SMART fixing system, contributing to a reduction in secondary steelwork and a simplified installation process. The building achieved LEED Platinum certification (USGBC, 2022) in the New Construction category.
