The International Way building in London adopts the expression of a traditional brick façade through a prefabricated solution. For this project, we supplied 10,520 m² of large-format GRC panels with a BrickFaced surface in a terracotta colour. This was the first project in which we used GRC panels with applied brick slips; the façade also incorporates specially developed brick-faced GRC cladding columns.

Prefabricated BrickFaced GRC panels allow the desired brick appearance to be achieved with lower weight, faster installation and reduced load on the structural system. The panels were manufactured off-site under controlled conditions, contributing to consistent quality and precise detailing. The International Way development is targeting BREEAM Excellent certification.
